- Early spring through fall
- Arugula has a distinct spicy flavor that makes it good to eat alone but also great in a salad.
- Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Best eaten with in the first five days.
- Blanch in boiling water for 30 seconds, then place in ice. Drain and dry.Pack into freezer bag and remove air and seal.
- Or, try puréeing the arugula with water and freezing in an ice tray.
