• Position is 40 hours per week. Hiring for April 2026. This wash and pack manager is a year-round opportunity on a well-run, established organic vegetable farm.

• Tasks include washing vegetables, packing orders for wholesale and CSA, facility upkeep, and daily cleaning. Training in our systems will be provided and necessary to learn our standards and quality.

• Ability to lift 40 pounds and move quickly and with efficiency is required.

• Our facility is new, with agronomic work stations.

• Require attention to detail and keeping our cooler organized and inventory in check.

• Our team is upbeat, small, and has great communication.

• Pay is $22/hour. 

• Experience on a vegetable farm required, minimum 2 years.

• A diverse position for the right person! This is a year-round, 30 hour/week position. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

• Our CSA consists of 150 members annually. The CSA runs from June through the end of February.

• The CSA is the backbone of this farm and this is a great opportunity for the right person!

• Tasks include:

  • Managing the CSA on-farm pickups on Fridays, 11 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturdays 9 am to 1:30 pm;

  • Writing weekly newsletters via an online platform to communicate with members about farm news, recipes, vegetables available, farm store highlights and more;

  • Deliveries on Wednesdays to Williamstown, MA and Manchester, VT;

  • Packing CSA shares and preparing for CSA distributions on Thursday. 

• Skills required include:

  • Experience on a vegetable farm;

  • Knowledge of cooking;

  • Knowledge about varieties of vegetable crops

  • Customer service and communication—the CSA requires a lot of talking with members and building relationships with our CSA community. 

  • General computer skills and appropriate communication etiquette for writing the newsletters;

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, as CSA set up can be physical.

The Dorset Farmers Market is every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm on Route 30 in Dorset Vermont. We have been vending at this market for 20 years!

The Dorset Market Associate is essentially a market helper. Job entails loading the truck in the morning before market with produce and CSA boxes, setting up the display, and taking sales, and restocking shelves.

Hours: 7:00 am to 3:15 pm Sunday.

Wage : $21 to $23 per hours based on experience.

Qualifications: Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly to load, unload, and stock shelves at market. Knowledge of vegetables and strong customer service skills. Addition and subtraction is required to tally orders and check out customers. Market can be busy, so the ability to stock, communicate with customers, and complete customer orders is necessary.

‍ Start Date: 5/24/2026 through 11/22/2026. Orientation will be required for candidate to see the farm and get training.

We are seeking a hard-working, upbeat, team-oriented, fun, and kind person to join our field team! This is a seasonal position.

Wage: $20/hour

Duration: May through September/October 2026.

Qualifications: Ability to life 40 pounds, work in heat, rain, cold, and sunshine. We value and foster a good work ethic, attention to detail, strong communications skills, punctuality, diligence, and humor!

Tasks: Planting, weeding, harvesting, packing for CSA and wholesale orders, greenhouse work, cleaning of facilities when needed, and more. We trin the field crew candidate in all aspects of production so you will get a variety of work through out the day.
