Cabbage
Season:
- Spring through fall
- Cabbage is a low calorie, fiber rich leafy vegetable.
- Cabbage can be kept in the refrigerator in paper or plastic bags for up to two months with holes poked through
- Cut cabbage into wedges and place into boiling water for 90 seconds. Then, plunge into ice water for 90 seconds. Dry cabbage off and place in freezer bags.
