My four seasons being a team member of the Mighty Food Farm crew was beyond worthwhile to my personal and professional development! The work is diverse, challenging, and educational; I have so many fond memories tactfully weeding onion holes, hauling bundles of freshly pulled garlic, and carefully pruning tomato plants. All these moments accumulated a sense of pride as I contributed to the production of local food that feeds my community. I have worked at Mighty Food Farm for two summers now and highly recommend it. Be prepared to work hard, but know that you will be surrounded by fun, caring people. Lisa prioritizes her crew, making sure everyone stays well hydrated and safe during the hot summer days. She also keeps everyone well fed with a variety of healthy and delicious snacks for break. The farm dogs, cats and horses add extra entertainment to the daily routine. Lisa is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to farming and classic 80s films!
