Leeks
Season:
- Spring through the fall
- Leeks have a similar taste to onions and can be used for making soups, pastas or stock
- Leeks can last in the refrigerator up to 7-14 days
- Trim and halve leeks. Clean thoroughly, then slice into half moons of desired size. Spread on a sheet pan and place in freezer until completely frozen. Place in freezer bags.
